Children of Fallen Heroes

Eligibility Requirements: 

Beginning with the 2018-2019 academic year, students who are Pell-eligible, who have a Pell-eligible Expected Family Contribution (EFC), and whose parent died in the line of duty while serving as a public safety officer may be eligible to receive a maximum scheduled Pell award if:

 - they were less than 24 years old at the time of the parent's death; or 

 - were enrolled at a college or university at the time of the parent's death.

Application Process: 

File your FAFSA and complete the Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship Application. 

Award Information: 

Your application and supporting documents will be reviewed by the financial aid office. If you are deemed eligible you will receive the maximum Pell grant for the year based on your enrollment level.
